Instructions for setting up the

DirecTV RC-65 Remote

4 Component Universal Remote Control

1) Find the Component Code number for the desired Device from the table below.

 

2) On the Directv remote slide the MODE switch to AV1 or AV2 depending on which one you want to program.

3) Press and hold the MUTE and SELECT keys at the same time untilthe green light under the selected switch position flashes twice, then release both keys.

4) Using the number keypad enter the 5-digit component code. If performed correctly, the green light under the selected position flashes twice.

The VCR preset should now be set.
